Reactivity

Like some people, some dogs tend to overreact. Dogs may lunge, growl, and snap at people or other dogs. For
some dogs, it is a particular situation or dog (like a certain hyper puppy down the street) that aggravates the
reactivity. For others, reactivity is a recurring, often daily, problem.
Help is here!
At this seminar, you’ll learn how to:
Control over-reactive behavior in urban, public situations
Calm leash reactivity when on walks
Make dog-to-dog encounters less aggressive and more friendly
Employ techniques to create friendly, appropriate greetings
This seminar will be taught by Lisa Collins, CPDT, a professionally certified trainer.
Please contact us for more details or to be put on a wait list for any of these classes.
Play Nice

Most dogs are actually scared of children. We, as human beings, often approach dogs in a way that they find threatening. Children unknowingly exasperate this behavior with their energetic and impulsive actions. This is when bites can happen.
Help is here!
At this seminar, you’ll learn to teach your kids how to:
Safely approach a dog they want to pet
Appropriately react to an unknown dog
Read canine body language
And you will be able to practice your new knowledge during the seminar!
Please contact us for more details or to be put on a wait list for any of these classes.
