Considering using your dog for therapy work? Or just want to make life with your dog more enjoyable and fun? Intermediate Training is beyond basic obedience and focuses on tricks, therapy work as well as obedience training in real life situations. Your dog will learn appropriate behavior in distracting situations. We will also teach your dog traditional, fun tricks, like "Shake" and Roll Over as well as unusual (and helpful!) commands like Clean Up Your Toys and Find the Keys. This class will also prepare both you and your dog to take the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test, a requirement for participation in many dog therapy groups. Who Should Attend?
Dogs that are more than six months of age and have had previous basic obedience are encouraged to take Intermediate Training.

Your Dog Will Learn:

Practical obedience commands, like Clean Up Your Toys

To serve as a therapy dog (optional, not required)

Dog Owners Will Learn to:

Train your dog for therapy work (optional, not required)

How to give commands that make your life easier!
