Puppies may be new to the world, but that doesn’t stop them from wanting to move full speed ahead into their surroundings. Our free Puppy Parties provide a safe and healthy environment for your dog to explore the world and get the socialization he needs. In fact, introducing puppies to healthy socialization is one of the most important actions you can take to ensure a secure and healthy future for your dog. And after an hour of solid playtime, you get the added benefit of taking home a tired puppy (Hello, good night’s rest!).

Who Should Attend?
The name says it all - puppies! Puppy Parties are for dogs under twelve months of age. Dog owners are required to be present at all times.

This is an introduction to basic obedience geared towards dogs over the age of six months. Good for dogs who have never had any obedience training before. The class revolves around living with your pet in an urban environment. Learn not only the basic obedience commands such as Sit, Stay, Down and Come but the student will also learn commands such as Leave It and how to get your dog to Stay while there is a knock at the door or another dog walks past. There is no socialization in this class. If you are looking for playtime with your adult dog please contact us for recommendations. Note: Dogs will not attend the first week of class. Considering using your dog for therapy work? Or just want to make life with your dog more enjoyable and fun? Intermediate Training is beyond basic obedience and focuses on tricks, therapy work as well as obedience training in real life situations. Your dog will learn appropriate behavior in distracting situations such as the park and at retail stores. We will also teach your dog traditional, fun tricks, like "Shake" and Roll Over as well as unusual (and helpful!) commands like Clean Up Your Toys and Find the Keys. This class will also prepare both you and your dog to take the American Kennel Club's Canine Good Citizen test, a requirement for participation in many dog therapy groups. Who Should Attend?
Dogs that are more than six months of age and have had previous basic obedience are encouraged to take Intermediate Training.

Leash Reactivity Hybrid Training

Reactivity Hybrid sessions are created specifically for dogs who have leash reactivity. Leash reactivity is a common behavioral issue in which a dog will growl, bark and lunge fiercely upon seeing other dogs while on leash.

These sessions will provide a safe and supportive environment for owners to practice the techniques used to alleviate these unwanted behaviors. Owners will also learn new and more advanced skills to get their dog to the point of responding on walks as they would like them to.

Clients must have participated in at least one private training session to learn the methods used to get rid of this behavior. There is a limit of four dogs allowed in this seminar.

Dogs must be preregistered since there is a limit. Owners cancelling within one week of the session will be charged for the session.

Proof of Bordatella, Distemper/Parvo, and Rabies must be given for this seminar. No exceptions.
